At the inaugural session of the Africa Spain Cooperation Summit held in Madrid on July 6, 7 and 8, 2023, Hassan M. Alaoui, Chairman of One Africa Forums, highlighted the reasons why Spain should support the African continent :
– Spain’s natural extension is Africa;
– Africa wants to diversify its horizons beyond its historical partners;
– Spain is present in Morocco with over a thousand companies and constitutes a natural gateway to Africa.
– Spain’s extensive experience in key sectors that are crucial for Africa.
“We want to cover the gap between Spain and Africa”, highlighted Alaoui, in order to create that bridge that promotes collaboration with the south and the development of Africa.
